Our volunteer instructors will teach you the basics and let you get your hands dirty.

Our Pottery Instructors
We have an unbelievable group of instructors that volunteer their time to teach you how to Create! It's because of the generosity of these instructors and our financial donors that pottery is free at the Art Room.
Our Clay Method
The Art Room Pottery Studio allows you to try pottery for free because we are in the business of clay reclamation. Clay doesn't Go Bad when a piece is scrapped or even when the clay dries out. Clay, in any form, is reclaimable.

Free sessions at the Art Room Pottery Studio are what we call Throw to Recycle. We provide recycled clay, free instruction, and everything you make gets recycled. This is how we maintain a sustainable pottery studio with free lessons.
Our outstanding volunteers recycle clay weekly so throwing pottery at the Art Room can stay free for everyone.
