About The Event
Sad the Show brings together recent work by Sadie T. Shirts C., oil painter and stuff maker at Sad the Shop, for the month of May. An exhibition about in-between moments, passing strangers, and small sparks.
Paintings from her collections “The People We Meet” and “Time On Our Hands” will be displayed, along with her 35mm photography and small-scale printed objects.
Sadie has worked professionally as an artist in one form or another for over fourteen years. Her extensive background in photography informs her painting’s framing and composition. Likewise, her work as a painter influences her use of color and light.
Join us May 7th from 5-8pm at the Art Room for “Sad the Show” from Sad the Shop.
